Final Report

This report encapsulates the insights gleaned from our remarkable 4,000-mile journey from Fairfield, CT to Sacramento, CA. Since 2008, Live Green Network, a 501 (C) (3) charity, has been at the forefront of impactful public-facing education and outreach events, advocating for increased zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) adoption. Our partnership with the CT Southwestern Area Clean Cities Coalition, a United States Department of Energy program, has enriched our arsenal with brand-neutral electric vehicle/EVSE resources, tools, and technical assistance.

The crux of our findings centers around range anxiety, a significant hurdle in electric vehicle adoption, particularly among women. Our mission was to address this by fostering safe charging spaces through community-driven demonstration events. The coast-to-coast EV road trip was our embodiment of this mission, and the insights gained have been invaluable.
